Very cool ... it looks like the tour will be in support of the latest Eno/Byrne collaboration, and will focus on the new release and on previous Eno/Byrne music. From David Byrne's web site:

"Brian Eno and I recently finished our first collaboration in about 30 years. For the most part, Brian did the music and I wrote some tunes, words and sang. It's familiar but completely new as well. We're pretty excited. The name of the new record is Everything That Happens Will Happen Today and the music will be available on this Web site on August 18th, free for streaming and available for purchase as both a download and in physical formats.

In September I will begin a tour, on which I will be playing music from the new album as well as music from our previous collaborations - 3 Talking Heads albums, Bush of Ghosts, etc."

Peace, Mark

i'd be interested in hearing his new stuff but i dunno, i still cant get past how badly he treated the other talking heads. his stock dropped dramatically in my mind (rightly or wrongly).

The band broke up in 1991. I'm sure they're mostly over it by now. Maybe it's time for you to let go of your resentment. Move into the light, phistaper.

Really though, "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts" remains one of my all-time favourite albums. Not every day listening material perhaps, but still.
