Prince's Coachella Setlist

Recommended Posts

I don't know about you but I can't get enough of Prince's version of Radiohead's Creep. He shapes the whole thing and the SOLOS are epic and soaring, you hear this guy on the video I watch just go 'whoa' at one point - it's real goosebumps on the arms type stuff.

Seems like he had it pulled off Youtube but I have a version on my Imeem profile that's still up (awolrisk.imeem.com). I just checked out the full setlist today out of curiousity.... Are you fucking kidding me In The Arms Of An Angel and Come Together And Morris Day and Sheila E... FAWK!

I just found a torrent with a version of Come Together from a sick Prince live album I've never heard of.

Here's the link: Prince - The O2, London 28 August, 2007

The O2, London

Another recording from the O2, and Prince's 21 Nights in London. This is the 12th night - not a long show, but tight, solid and without any slack. No rarities in the setlist, but some great performances. Enjoy! (PS - there's more to come...)

Disc One:

Let's Go Crazy

Take Me With U

Come Together

U Got the Look

What a Wonderful World

Diamonds and Pearls

The Beautiful Ones

Little Red Corvette

Raspberry Beret

Black Sweat

Sign "o" the Times

Alphabet St

When Doves Cry

I Wanna Be Your Lover

Purple Rain

Disc Two:

I Feel For You

Nothing Compares 2 U

Count me amongst those that absolutely love Prince's version of Creep at Coachella. Sinister solo. Sadly, its the only song I have heard from said set and I only heard/Youtubed it three times before she was pulled.

(I was hooked on it one night)

C+ shakey-audience quality at best but his performance made it a B+. That's fucking hard to do as far as I am concerned.
