Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment have confirmed that the eighth annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will take place from June 11 - 14, 2009. As in years past, the four-day gathering will be held on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, TN. In 2007, the event’s organizations purchased the majority of the Bonnaroo site, securing their festival a permanent home.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from December 4 through December 31. VIP tickets will also be available during this time. In an unprecedented move, during this holiday pre-sale, general admission tickets will be available in five installments of $50.00, plus applicable fees through a special payment plan. To promote the pre-sale, Bonnaroo's organizers and veteran festival comedian Lewis Black worked together to create a manic Crazy-Eddie inspired video. Please click here to view the video.

Past festival headliners have included Pearl Jam, Metallica, Widespread Panic, The Police, Tool, Phil Lesh & Friends, Radiohead, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Dave Matthews Band, The Dead, Dave Matthews & Friends, Neil Young and Trey Anastasio. Though My Morning Jacket, Galactic, Les Claypool and Robert Randolph have each played Bonnaroo as many or more times, Widespread Panic is the only act to headline the festival on five different occasions.
