I spent five years working in a shopping mall, and the day after Hallowe'en they would break out the Xmas music. There was one 90-minute tape, and they would play it endlessly. If you're shopping it isn't so bad, but when you work there and hear the same fucking tape over and over again every single day for almost two months, you're pretty much ready to kill someone by the time the actual holiday rolls around.
