This year’s birthday run was a bit of a long strange trip as it was filled with lots of personal reflection and self-doubt. Not a fun trip, that’s for sure, but still a good one as I’ve come out of it even more determined to focus on the things that really matter to me … staying healthy, being a loving husband and a caring father, appreciating my family and friends, creating and enjoying music, teaching, learning, sharing positive energy and being honest.
