headymamamyrna Posted August 3, 2009 Report Share Posted August 3, 2009 Newfoundland has the strangest holiday.It's called Regatta Day but if you have to work they call it Regreta DAy.The merchants have sales like Boxing DAy unless Regatta DAy changes so does the sale day.It can change if it rains to the following day as long as it doesn't rain..Happy Regratta DAy for all the Newfies!!
