RUSTLE Posted September 10, 2009 Report Share Posted September 10, 2009 quick poll... if you are (or were to) got to festival 8, would you: A: camp?B: stay at a hotel? i see valid reasons for either option. but i thought i would open it up to get some more points of view. keep in mind, my budget does not allow for a $200 a night room at a resort. I'm far too old to put up with the sketch factor and the nitrous mafia at these festival campsites. For a multi-day festival, I need a good night's sleep! If there is a surpise set (ie flatbed trailer set, tower set) you'll be way more likely to catch it. And once you've arrived, you've arrived.I will be bringing a padlock for the tent for the first time, just for a little false sense of security. Jakis Posted September 10, 2009 Report Share Posted September 10, 2009 I'm camping but if I had the extra money and my friends wanted to stay in a hotel I probally would. However, I won't be drinking or doing drugs so I really want to get to the stage very early to get very close kinda like I did for the gorge night 2. If I am camping I can go whenever I want. Everything from the truck through camp, to the boys playing from tethered hot air balloons.Yes PT is a big pile of crap, but amongst that pile is usually one small gem of truth.I'd be doing a hotel.
