Nothing special, but it may be hard to get a room with Phish or they may get greedy and price it up. I do it all the time and end up at the holiday inn express which is walking distance from Cobo hall and the service is great.Staying in Windsor will be more expensive. Posted October 26, 2009 Report Share Posted October 26, 2009 indeed. i'd stay in detroit too. call ahead to the renaissance centre... i used to get rooms there on the 70th floor for about $90 - which we'd split 4 ways. or, $40 for the holiday inn sounds even better.my 'favourite' detroit experience was going for all-night breakfast about 4am, to a restaurant with armed security. automatic weapons and bullet-proof vests!
