Velvet
On this day in 1969, my mom plopped my 22-month old ass in front of the tv and I met my family. The impact Jim Henson had on my upbringing cannot be overestimated. I wish he was still around.
hamilton
I watched Sesame Street every single weekday for I don't know how many years. And Mr. Dressup too, but I always like Sesame Street better. What a great show!

Esau.
Some of my earliest clearest memories include Sesame Sreet - Wyoming 1973 (I was 3), my father was working just outside Rawlins and brought us down to live for a year, I remember watching Sesame Street (and Price is right) in the mornings. Kanada Kev
http://www.youtube.com/SesameStreet Nothin' like the Pointer Sisters getting down with "12" Loved watching Sesame Street vids with my kids. The Muppet Show is way more entertaining than any late night TV variety show on today RIP - Jim Henson ... you made the world a better place. Low rain
I love Jim Henson and all his creations! Sesame street rocks! For anyone who doesn't know there is an "old school" series of dvds from the earliest of years. It's great! Wouldn't it be great to be a guest on Sesame Street!!! FUN! Velvet
I had a teacher in high school who was on Sesame Street when she was 11 or so. She was part of a skit with her sister and I think Harry Monster. She was my hero.
