PhishyK
LOL I remember walking into the Fernwood Community Centre about 3 years ago and seeing Hot Hot Heat playing to about 3 people. I dunno how they got 'discovered' but nice job dudes. You really sucked balls 3 years ago.
M
Not sure what kind of music you like, but if you're open to it, you should give their CD a listen... not for everyone I guess, but I heard the full CD at a party one night and really liked it. Great energy. One of their tunes is also on a mixed CD a friend made me and it completely rocks out. For sure they have been swept along in the hype of the whole "The" bands phenomenon; however, style and image aside, I think the a lot of those bands do have merit reaching beyond their hair and into their songs. Palms
The Montreal band THE UNICORNS open all shows on this tour, while the Broken Social Scene spinoff METRIC is also on most shows, although I believe they are not playing the Ontario dates. Palms
Amen to both. The Cons are mighty fine indeed. Anyone who likes WEEN should like the Unicorns, if you know what I mean
