I never said anything personal(except toward myself) in my original post towards you guys. I'm sorry to break it to you, but you didn't coin the phrase give'r and you are certainly not the only ones who use the term. Meg, That was meant to mean that it was not personal toward you guys and that you are not the only ones who use the term alot. This is the gayest thing ever. I can't believe y'all got your knickers twisted cause of somebody else's joke, which by the way, was inspired by the recent over use of the word "suck". Truthfully I just threw give'r in there cause it is also over used. Why do you even care what I think. If you are that loyal to the word "give'r" then my opinion shouldn't matter to you anyway. You do realize that by saying that you won't use these words, you're chasitising those that do? So no, people didn't misread what you wrote, they merely read between the lines. And as lame as this give'er business is, I have to side with LMP in saying that there's much bigger fish to fry these days. This board is what people make of it, whether we're having endless philosophical discussions or posting the bands that we think suck (of which Rush is definitely excluded). Why try to impose any limitations on that, or expect people to filter their thoughts and feelings to suit one person? Well, Palace Princess said it right when she said "You picked a really bad time to join this board" I have to admit Give'r does raise goosebumps on the back of my neck, but it's all in good fun. Just like Super Freaks comments were also all in good fun. You guys and your chick fights.....do you ever grow out of that? The majority of these posts really made me laugh.
