Musicians - finding your music on rapidshare, etc

So the other day I found my latest album on a bunch of pirate music site. Honestly, I'm quite flattered that somebody took the time to do it and thought somebody else might want to hear it.

My question is - How does this happen? We're a regional band, sell a VERY SMALL amount of CDs. I know this isn't just a copy of the preview link I sent out for promo, reviews, etc. It's ripped at a different bit rate and one of the song titles is incorrect. So someone must have done it from scratch.

Any thoughts or similar experiences?
