ollie Posted April 21, 2010 Report Share Posted April 21, 2010 Interesting....why would they take the day off...gotta be a waste of money to have the site set up and not used for a day.....No bands to pay on that day, no security to pay on that day, etc. So probably not a huge waste.Again, my thinking is based on the fact that it's starting a day earlier than usual so instead of ending a day early they decided to take one off in the middle. bungopony Posted April 21, 2010 Report Share Posted April 21, 2010 A day off in the middle is absolutely welcome: I'm exhausted by Day 3, and I'm just sitting and listening.Some of the clashes are epic: Levon Helm vs. Rush, Budos Band vs. Gories, Steel Pulse vs. Robert Freakin' Randolph, finally in a 9 pm slot. I could cry.Still a headliner to come on the first Friday, and a bunch of slots for other stages (Black Sheep, surprisingly) open. Expect more to trickle in.
