"The 2010 Ontario earthquake occurred on June 23, 2010 and was felt across the Greater Toronto Area and in Ottawa. The Globe and Mail noted that reports on Twitter "suggest the earthquake was felt as far away as Ohio, New York and Michigan". This quake occured within minutes of quakes occuring in South Carolina, Southern California, and Southern Maryland.[1]"

that wasn't that cool. it's a little freaky to start bouncing up and down on the 11th floor. no one knew what to think for those 10 secs. if it lasted any longer than that, there would have been panic.

people were visibly shocked from my office, though all those fire drills sure helped. no one hesitated to wait for an alarm...except for a couple of guys who were in the middle of eating their ribs from ribfest. They didn't want to abandon them.
