bradm
I caught the first 3/4 or so of Richard Underhill's show, then decided to check out Radio String Quartet Vienna at the NAC 4th Stage, and they dropped an entire program of McLaughlin/Mahavishnu music on me. They're doing a free show on Canada Day at the University of Ottawa, and I'm planning on being there.Aloha,Brad
canscifan
Thanks Kev, yeah I'm here in Ottawa now. Been lurking on the site for a while.MMW was great. Watched the first half of the show from the Mackenzie King bridge until I realized there was no longer any security at the entrances. Made my way in to the park for the last couple songs and encore, and of course a tasty Beau's. Looking forward to Sharon Jones on Sunday, and of course Furthur next week. bradm
Today, I think I'm going to spend all afternoon at Confederation Park, to catch the OLG tent stuff, which includes Jesse Stewart playing balloons, a bassless exploration, and an electro-acoustic journey that blends improvisation and composition. This evening, Souljazz looks like fun, with Gord Grdinas looking like a fun break/rest before James Farm.Aloha,Brad

bradm
I'm psyched for Brubeck tonight. Does anything else look good to people?Aloha,Brad
bradm
The Dusty Drifters are playing at Irene's tonight (9:30pm door), opening up for The Jesse Greene Band, which might make for some fun after-Brubeck, if people are willing and able.Aloha,Brad
