Any recommendations? I'm not looking to go fancy here, as the ol' station wagon is getting up there in mileage. Any suggestions are appreciated.Thanks! skelter Posted January 7, 2011 Report Share Posted January 7, 2011 I use these guys - http://www.aeroinsurancebrokers.com/ - and have been very happy with them, but I get a good discount through the Ontario Real Estate Association. Otherwise, call around locally to some insurance brokers, they can usually give you 4 or 5 options for different companies to go with. I would recommend avoiding banks and places with limited choice. They are the most expensive, but also the most hassle free, from my experience anyways. Whoever you used to be with might be a good starting point too. If you were a good customer you may be able to convince them to give you credit for being insured longer - whereas a new company may just look at you as a brand new policy because you haven't been insured in Canada for a while (I presume) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
