any place is an upgrade to Arrow Hall in Mississauga but damnit, Centre in the Square? I mean I know i'm not allowed to bitch because they will be so close....but i'm tempted to go to Ottawa on my birthday instead, just because it isn't Center in the Square...

I love the Centre in the Square. I've seen tons of stuff there over the years from musicals, to Tori Amos, to Video Games Live. I think the sound is always great (and I've sat everywhere from the bleeders to front row). The fact that it is a 5 minute walk from my house and I get a lot of free tickets from work helps too of course. Dunno...haven't really seen any super loud/heavy stuff there before, but I'm willing to give it a chance. I made the mistake of not going to see Leonard Cohen there a few years ago. Not going to make the same mistake with the Pixies.

Arrow Hall is the GTA's worst venue, and the surrounding area is even worse. It makes going to a show at Sound Academy pure joy by comparison. I was at that Pixies show at Arrow Hall and even they had trouble getting folks excited about the show, and they played great.

Wow' date=' a Hamilton date.

Wentworth Room? Never heard of it. Anyone know if it is it at the convention centre?[/quote']

It is at the Convention Centre. I'm not sure which room it is, though.

it's the ground floor room to your left when you walk through the front doors. Holds around 2,000 people

Anyone know if it's general admission or not?
