Bluegrass in Port Dover, Mar 12 @ 3pm

Recommended Posts

hey everyone,

We've got a little bluegrass band together called The Blurry Pickers and we'll be opening for Rhyme 'n Reason at their CD release party at the Brig in Port Dover in a couple of Saturdays.

There are 3 bands on the bill (Rescue Junction is the other band) - not sure if we're on first or second.

The Blurry Pickers are;

Dan Walsh - dobro/vocals (Diesel Dog; formerly of Fred Eaglesmith and the Flathead Noodlers)

Rusty Enns - guitar/vocals (The Clydesdales; former manager of the Fat Cats)

Tim Ewing - mandolin/vocals (The Clydesdales)

Ryan Morrison - banjo/vocals (Diesel Dog)

Blair Babcock - bass/vocals

Here are the details off Rhyme 'n Reason's website.

Mar 12, 2011 (Sat), 3:00pm to 5:00pm

The Brig

Port Dover, On

Cost: $20 single; $30 couple (includes CD)

Hope to see some of you there!!

edit to add: Ryan won't be playing with us at this show.

How's life since you cut your wife outta that one song? :)

not so good - she lets me in the house once a day for 30 minutes then I'm suppose to be off the property.

Jokes on her, I sneak back on and take refuge under the broken slabs of cement in the pool.

mmmmmmmm - that sounds like a nice sleep backbacon! I had one of those yesterday.

grateful_dave - it was an all bluegrass line-up.

The other two were more mainstream bluegrass with Rhyme 'n Reason having a heavy bluegrass gospel influence.

Nice to see a bunch of good folks out! Thanks for the support!
