Official Bluesfest 2011 Lineup

Recommended Posts

I guess if I can list the complete shows I attended, it would make for my favourites. I did hop around alot for photos, but there were a few that I had to watch from start to finish.

(ordered by day and time)

The Flaming Lips

The Roots

The Black Keys

Peter Elkas Band

The Tragically Hip (Only caught 1/4 of this one... too much going on! Saw the start and the finish!)

Peter Frampton

Huey Lewis

My Morning Jacket

Jane's Addiction

I LOVE Death From Above but....

that was one of the worst shows I have ever seen.

Yeah what happened? I missed them but I was reading on another board just how horrible they were.

They seemed to be lazily hacking through the set. Lots of off key screaming, and messy drumming although they hit some stuff okay, lots of talk of being hungover. Kind of reminded me of nero, summer 04.

Yeah it just seemed like they didn't really care to play and get the energy up. Plus the sound was just terrible no matter where you stood...believe me I walked around to find a good spot.

At least I can say I saw them play...

If you look closely in the mess ( you can't see it on the photo) there are lots of equipment boxes everywhere- and not just from Cheap Trick, but also a huge stack from DCFC SEATTLE (Death Cab for Cutie).

They've had four cops posted there since the incident: looter prevention?

Weird question , but did anybody check out Nick Jonas' set? Not something I would normally take notice of, but my eye was caught when I saw on the website that a chunk of his band used to play with Prince in the NPG. Can anybody bear witness?
