Im going home Donny Posted July 27, 2011 Report Share Posted July 27, 2011 Off the top of my head..heres why I LOVED Hillside.1) Great music2) Super friendly volenteers3) Great enviremental attitude4) Super family friendly..kids tent, free 1 hour babysitting, kids stuff all over.5) Great medical staff6) Awesome food&) Super duper busses to shuttle around folks7) Amazing camping set up8) Neat 'little' artsy touches all over..my fave being the sweet messages in the port o potties9) Good beeeeer10) Re-usable cups for beer11) apart from not being able to see 2 bands I realy wanted to see..realy nice lay out over all12) swimming!13) super duper chill friends and folks in general14) decent access to drinkable water15) mostly allways had access to water and soap to clean hands16) GREAT MUSIC17) REALY NICE PEOPLE18) GREAT MUSIC19) GREAT MUSIC20) GREAT PEOPLE21) Going with the Friendliest man I know and our son.22) Getting to chill with super fine peeps.23) cool work shops...thats off the top of my head...tottally looking forward to going again and again and again. My musical highlights were Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, The Sheepdogs acoustic, The Woodshed Orchestra, and Ozjam (once it got rolling). I also really enjoyed the spoken word stuff that I heard on Sunday.I personally thought that the festival was too crowded on Saturday. Having said that, Hillside is an excellent festival and it is extremely well organized.
