Kanada Kev
This looks like a killer show. You can't go wrong with this venue. Stunningly beautiful and the best acoustics around, from every vantage point. I'd be trying to get in to this if I was in town.Wonder if Maceo will get together with Prince after? ::drool::http://performance.rcmusic.ca/event/still-black-still-proud-african-tribute-james-brown-featuring-pee-wee-ellis-maceo-parker-and-c?utm_source=padnov22&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=premiere&mcclnktrk=6Still Black, Still ProudAn African Tribute to James BrownFeaturing Pee Wee Ellis,Maceo Parker, and Cheikh LôDate: Saturday, November 26, 2011Time: 8:00 pmPrice: Starting at $33.50Venue: Koerner Hall“Primally explosive funk.†(The Independent) The “pancontinental funk-soul supergroup†(The Boston Globe) celebrates James Brown’s revolutionary music in this innovative, rhythm fuelled tribute of Afro-funk.
