Hal Johnson Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 You guys are usually pretty good about helping us laymans out when it comes to this stuff, so I'm hoping I can get a super simple easy to follow answer here.Essentially, I want to be able to restore my computer back to a few days ago, but there's no restore points anywhere to be found. Using Vista. Any suggestions? And I'll have you know that I've been keeping the porno to nothing but the most respected and reputable midget sites around, so spare me the lecture please. Weirdness Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 Never had any luck with restoring or safe mode but if you haven't tried it yet run Malwarebytes.If you can't get it to load due to virus, you'll have to put it on a usb stick via another machine and load it that way. bouche Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 i don't know how to interpret this. can you find system restore?if that's your problem, start menu > in search box type - rstrui which will load up the system restore utility. if it hasn't been disabled, and had plenty of room to do restore points, you should be good to go. It's cool though, I got a PM from someone whose gonna give me a hand with it later tonight so I'll hopefully get it sorted out. Thanks though!!
