Matt Whatever His Last Name was a fucking total gunslinger. They helped shape my opinion of how fun the Dead's music was. They disbanded in the middle 90s (?) and Matt then joined with Sam to form Hurricane Bob, another great Kingston cover band who did some lesser known Dead chestnuts as well as all kinds of awesome tunes from other awesome bands. They were actually one of my favorite cover bands because of the rarities they would throw out. Give me money for kinda remembering all of that.
