bradm Posted December 28, 2013 Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 On Monday, December 30, 2013, Linsey Wellman's Wedding And Funeral Band (live recordings of which can be found here) will be playing at Le Petit Chicago in Gatineau, QC.The band is a trio:Linsey Wellman - saxophoneMike Essoudry - drumsJoe Hincke - bassSome favourites from the Balkans, some John Zorn tunes, a few originals and even a couple of jazz standards rendered unrecognizable, from three well-known and adventurous Ottawa jazz musicians. There will be laughter, there will be tears, there will be drinking and there will be eating.The door time is 9pm, and the cover charge is $5 at the door.
