c-towns
Dang, same night as Trampled by Turtles in Toronto, that's going to hurt both shows.
edger
Yes it will. I've been really wanting to see moe.'s new material live, but I can't justify missing the turtles/spirit family reunion bill. Just too good. Besides Ryan Young is one of my spiritual guides Dang
edger
The few singles I've heard off the new album are quite good. I enjoy listening to Silver Sun but its got some hardly subtle Pink Floyd rip-off moments in there...
Davey Boy 2.0
Division Bell era rip offs or more Ummagumma-type era?
rubberdinghy
Is nero. opening?
dave-O
Well that's awesome. I haven't seen moe in over a decade and it was definitely going to take them coming to Mtl for it to happen again.
PassedOutGuy
100% in for Toronto... on the fence about Montreal if I can swing it.

bradm
This is next weekend... anybody coming to Montreal? I'll be there, along with a bunch of other Ottawa folks. Montreal taper Mark is in as well. Aloha,Brad
bradm
The Montreal show has been moved from the Corona Theatre to Petit Campus. Corona tickets will be honoured. Aloha,Brad
dave-O
That's too bad, and must mean that ticket sales aren't great. Theatre Corona is a much nicer venue, but Petit Campus is tiny, so it should make for an intimate show.
dave-O
Also... I don't remember if it's Petit Campus or Cafe Campus (one is upstairs from the other), but one of those venues has an early curfew.
AD
Last time I saw moe. in Montreal it was at the upstairs place and it was an early curfew. I know that because I walked in between the show and encore, thinking I had great timing, only to see a 2 song "set" and then bouncers escorted everyone out while other staff swept up. hey now
yes we missed the first set at petit campus the last time moe. were there due to the early curfew dance bar thingy...yeah it is upstairs.other showtimes at the venue match the moe. showtime so it should be correct this time...the last time it was moe.'s website that had it wrong i believe.even though what i believe may not always be true. dave-O
Petit Campus is the downstairs venue, but either way, I think it's safe to expect this show will start on time.
dave-O
M Ward was moved from the Corona to Petit Campus earlier this week too. There's a ton of competition for concerts in Mtl in early September, especially with the MRCY Block Party thing today and Pop Montreal next week. Northern Wish
Man in looking at these setlists, I do not know moe. any more. More than half of the songs from Toronto and Montreal would have been First Time Seen for me.
fluffhead77
8/14 of those are all old school, NW. Even most of the "new" ones they played last night were almost 10yrs old
Northern Wish
The last time I saw the band was 2010 and I felt the same way that weekend. I guess I don't know them well enough to even know the titles anymore! lulz
edger
I dig their new album. Surprising they aren't playing more off of it (although I don't know most of the title tracks). How was the turnout? Wish I could have gone to this one too but Trampled by Turtles won out for me. That show was quite packed...especially for a Tuesday night and moe. playing as well. It was good to see
