Northern Wish 63 Report post Posted February 11, 2015 I think we all just have to accept the fact that we (people our age, not hippies or hipsters- CT) are no longer the target demographic for festivals. I've been sucked in to attending Hangout this year (brutal I know, although it is a free work trip) and they announced additions today. I knew one of the 5 names and only because one of them nicked a Tom Petty melody.

AD 29 Report post Posted February 11, 2015 I suspect nobody had to twist your arm too much to get you to that festival Sean.
Northern Wish 63 Report post Posted February 11, 2015 I'm Scottish, I will do anything for free. But tbh the lineup is not great, from everything I have read the crowd is a total nightmare and I will be with my boss and a coworker and 2 clients. There was no arm twisting, but I am not thrilled about it.

deranger 11 Report post Posted February 11, 2015 I'm wondering what the water quality is really like down there at the Hangout beach, on the old Alabama coast. Those few thousands of gallons of dispersants they dumped into the gulf have really, really f-ed it up. Not that things were ok with 210 million gallons of oil to start with, but...... I recommend: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/25/corexit-bp-oil-dispersant_n_3157080.html and maybe staying out of the water. boiler rat 25 Report post Posted February 13, 2015 I read that and I think of how Simcoe embraced the Gentlemen of the Road and all the good that it brought to Norfolk. People going to that festival will bring wads of cash to the area. I bet Simcoe would be glad to host an event like that again.
