I haven't heard it yet either, i am imagining it being like when dave matthews made the all electric album. Did i just admit that i have a dave matthews album? I also dislike most of coldplay.

Do you really give a shit what others think anyway?

I sure as hell don't.

i bought some Blake Shelton and Dierks Bentley the other day off iTunes

To each their own

btw...I also own some Dave Matthews albums

Guest Low Roller

I have not heard any of the new stuff.

I would be tempted to go see them in NOTL but feels a bit steep. The Maccabees, who are opening, are a great britrock band.

The song in heavy rotation on Sirius is fucking atrocious. I can't remember the last time a band made such an about face from their debut album's sound.

Roller? Booche?

Kings Of Leon come to mind, although it took them an album, or two, for the hate to really pile on.

I have

Kings of Leon for sure. Stereophonics comes to mind as well. How about Band of Horses? Their sound changed as well.

Disagree with Stereophonics, but BOH is pretty much true, for now.

There's tons of bands that couldn't follow up a big debut or breakthrough album with something equally important. Most can't. I find the best artists are slow to hit their prime. Certainly Wilco falls into this category. The Dead, Who, Allmans, Stones, White Stripes, etc. do too.
