Blane 1 Report post Posted May 21, 2016 Only a handful of tracks in, and have listened to the early release tracks, and I have to say, by "tribute album" standards, this is really solid. Interesting reinterpretations, stellar set of artists, and only a few that really fall flat. Rubin & Cherise is just amazing.

AD 29 Report post Posted May 22, 2016 Rubin and Cherise is my favourite as well. I hope this album gets a whole ton of deadheads into Bonnie Prince Billy as there's such great similarities (very generally) in songwriting between Jerry and Bonnie, in my totally uneducated opinion compared to some of the others posting in this thread. Bonnie has such a large back catalog to discover, I hope that draws him to Heads as well.

c-towns 165 Report post Posted May 26, 2016 Listened to disc 1 all they way through tonight, what a snore fest. Reuben and Cherise and Loser stood out, Me and my Uncle and Candyman were OK but the rest were soooo boring.
