If there is one thing I want you to know it's that I will never debate you on how well performed and sounding Pleasure Craft owns a stage. You guys always nail the screw. I would sound stupid to suggest anything aside from that. You have a tight band with many moving parts. That aint easy.

This could have been the perfect closure of the first set instead of the second last song. Seeing how the audience reacted and how well you cats did this I would recommend a set ender or an encore if you typically play it as great as you did this evening. You had the house in the palm of your hand, including me. Believe it or not.

War on Drugs = Dire Straits 

 

Love them to death but I can't get over the similar sound. There is also a song on the new Barr Brothers album that closes with what can only be described as a likely WOD outtake. The name escapes me right now but when you hear it you will know it.

Caught Barr Bros opening for War on Drugs last week in Germany. Great show. Barr Bros were well received by a crowd that basically didn't know them.
