SMMD Sleepyhead transcription help

Is anyone interested in helping me get the lyrics transcribed correctly for Sleepyhead by Surprise Me Mr. Davis?

I have the album version and it's hard to make out the words.  This youtube version conflicts a little bit but also helped, so I'll add that here.

I'm confident with most of the words transcribed, but I highlighted those that don't really make sense.

i stepped barefoot from my bed right into the ducking jughead bins

how could i be so afraid through so also last night outside myself  (this is slightly different on the album)
i bet the sun shines so today, like there’s love and nothing else
i’ve been broke so many ways then whatever holds your spirits
but just maybe like the morning rays of the sun across the hills
