Ask "hamilton" a question.

I have two questions:

1) What are the prospects for the Hamilton Tiger Cats to once again become a profitable and successful enterprise under the leadership and vision of new owner Bob Young, and his progressive 5-year plan?

2) I'm looking for some info on the employment situation in Nelson, BC.. When is the winter job fair at Whitewater ski resort? How about the job scene downtown? Anyone hiring?

Thanks!

Hi Hamilton,

Read your posts for years. First time writer.

This one's a three parter:

a)in Robertson Davies' "Fifth Business", was the author trying specifically to portray Liesl as the devil, was she the devil, or was Davies just a big ole misoganist?

b)Is the concept of "realpolitik" still valid in today's corporate dominated government? Should it really be "realcorporit"?

c)Still shaving "everywhere"?

a) Liesl is clearly the devil. This is shown on page 236, where Ramsay flings his Victoria Cross at her and screams, "You're the devil, Liesl - the devil!! Get thee away from me, Satan!!" He then fervently wishes to return to the trenches of Passchendaele. Did you read the book, or what? And yes, Davies was certainly a misogynist - he really shows his hate for ogyns through the entire Deptford Trilogy.

B) There is no reality, period - thus, no realpolitik or realcorporit. At least, that's what the giant rooster in my bathtub told me.

c) Yep. On the bus, at the mall, in the middle of the intersection of Locke and Aberdeen, waiting in line at City Hall, you name it.

Try this link. It's what I got whenI googled "best prices auto VW".

What is the chepest way to increase the horsepower in my subaru wrx for the least amount of money

Easy. Buy more horses. I recommend powerful ones, like Clydesdales or Belgians draughthorses. Of course, you'll be responsible for what they eat - and what they shit, too. Is that worth it, for a Subaru?

how can i make a girl that is inlove with another guy fall in love with me?

Stalking usually works well, followed by threatening letters, late night phone calls, and - the cherry on top of the sundae - at least one suicide threat. Be sure to state that you "can't live without" your victim repeatedly.

I thought that BNB were great. They sounded tight, and I really liked the new songs - I'm going to track down all the people who've been complaining that the new stuff is "too poppy" and give them a good punch - to me, the new songs were poppy in a Wilco kind of way, rather than a Blink-182 kind of way - which is fine by me.

Plus, Mike had a new black (or possibly purple) velvet (or maybe velour) jacket. Nice.

...also, why do some farts stink so bad you wanna die and some don't seem to smell at all?!?! how can you tell in advance and prepare by rolling down a window?

You might want to check out www.jobs.gc.ca. If you have the kind of job that requires you to know the answer to those questions, and you don't - and worse, you're asking me - then I suspect that this particular problem will clear itself up. I've just jumped ahead to help you with the next problem that you're going to encounter.

As for smelly farts, I can't quite explain that one - they are a mystery. I do know, however, that it's a bad idea to hold them in - they travel up your spine and into your brain, and that's where most shitty ideas come from. So fart plenty before you try to figure out your drainage equations!

Hope this helps.

Okay dude, that's a statement, not a question. I think you meant, "Do I need to get some drums?" Based on the sheer quantity of "heady wife" posts, it seems as though the drums wouldn't hurt. At least that way, you would have something of a chance with bokonon and SugarMegs.

It also helps if you can actually play the drums, rather than just owning a kit.

Well, if you haven't purchased either the compressor or the tools yet, then I don't see what the problem is. Check the specs on the tools before you purchase.

do you think its a bad idea to buy tools at costco

Well, I'm sure it's a better idea than stealing tools from CostCo.

Probably in a garage. I tried to do that once (although it was with a '68) in my bathroom, and you wouldn't believe the problems that caused.

also don't ignore my previous questions.

I haven't.

I'm pleased that you are pleased. You should really thank MarcO, though - it was his idea.

Well, I'm no science guy, but I would guess that the answer would depend on the size and location of the solar panel. A solar panel in Dawson City in December, no matter how big it is, isn't going to produce very much, while a small one in Arizona in July probably would do well.

Brian - I have found that I am engaged in a never-ending cycle of self-loathing and a lack of confidence that is manifested in various kinds of self-abuse. The other end of the cycle is simply not caring. How do I break out of this cycle and how do I lay the blame on other people so I may continue to shirk my own responsibilities to myself?

Also - wasn't Big Cypress fun?

See, now here's where the circle loops back 'round again - why not talk to Jared? He seems to be selling his Westphalia - desperate to sell it, in fact, which either means that he needs the cash and you can get a good deal, or that it's a piece of crap and you can get a good deal. I'm betting that it's the first option, though - Westy owners tend to take good care of their rides.

Anyway, don't promise your friends anything until you actually have the wheels. I once made a similar promise to MarcO and little black dog, and I ended up piggy-backing them all the way to Deer Creek. Boy, was my back sore!

I'm not sure if it's the most fun, but many people like it because it keeps me busy, which keeps me off of the streets of Hamilton, and thus out of trouble. The world is a safer place because of this thread.

Also, no one has been called any bad names, except for that asswipe Andy who configures my whatsit. I thought maybe shainhouse was offended that I told everyone that he masturbates 14 times a day, but I saw him last night and he explained that he hadn't seen the thread. He had been busy, thinking about beef. Anyway, he knows that I'm just kidding - he only averages 13 times a day.

(with apologies to shainhouse - I've been picking on him a lot lately. Maybe it's time for a new target...)

I'm unemployed. You too can have this much time - just quit your job!

Oh, that reminds me - I'm unemployed. Does anyone want to offer me a decent-paying job in Southern Ontario?

This is a two-part question...

1. In technological terms, where will we be 10 years from now? Will the "computer" we know today still exist or will it have been replaced by something else?

2. With Gibson's recent foray into digital guitars, has the bell tolled for analog instruments? In 10 years, what sort of whacky music will we be playing/listening to?

Hi hamilton, first of all let me say, I've been reading this thread for a while now and I'm a big fan!

Okay, so here's my question - I've been working on my overblows and overdraws for quite a while now, but I can't get the consistency to make use of them in a regular playing situation. Are there any breathing, throat or tongue exercises you could suggest to improve my tone and pitch?

Peace,

Mr. M.

1. Now that Lancaster is gone, I guess that anything is possible. I don't really know the details of the 5-Year Plan, but it sounds like some kind of Commie-pinko-socialist thingy. Hamilton will have the only Maoist team in the CFL.

2. According to this website, the winter job fair was back in October. I would guess that the next one would be around the same time next year. There are many jobs available in Nelson. They are advertised here .

Hope this helps.

I'm not sure that this is the proper forum in which to discuss oral sex techniques. Perhaps you could try writing to Josey Vogels or Dan Savage.
