Ms.Huxtable
If you could have anyone's singing voice as your own, who would you choose to sound like? I kinda like my voice the way it is, but man does Dolly Parton's voice ever give me chills. She sounds like a bird chirping away on a sunny day. Lovely. I'd choose her I think. Guest Low Roller
Thom Yorke (Radiohead) or Shannon Hoon (Blind Melon)
Mr. Musicface
Ooooo, good one! Probably Freddie Mercury - dude could've sung anything and I'd have listened. Peace, Mr. M.
Hux
I think I'd take the late Richard Manuel from The Band. What a voice!!

dave-O
Jeff Buckley would be great. (aside - I've always had a thing for Brad Delp from Boston's voice. Not sure why, not the kind of thing I usually go for...)
Ms.Huxtable
Hey Mr. Musicface, did you know that Freddy Mercury was trained in opera? So was Meatloaf actually. I'd take Mercury's voice over Meatloaf's though.
reba
absolutely hands down, annie lennox. also wouldn't mind sounding like nathalie merchant or even pat benatar (speaking of opera)

Phred
Louie Armstrong, though I am not sure I could up-keep it without smoking 2 or 3 packs a day... Phred
bouche
I'd say elvis, but there would be alot of people impersonating me, so I wouldn't be too pleased with that. McCartney has a great voice, although I would choose a late 60's to early 70's Paul.
Kitari
Greasy - you're such a suck-up! I love it!!! Me, I'd want Holly Cole's voice. Able to take it to a low, smokey, jazz gravel and back up to a sweet seprano in the blink of an eye. Gawd she's amazing...
Vermontdave
I'd have to say Gordon Lightfoot. No matter how long I spend in the shower, I can't hit his range.
Super Freak
I would pick Stevie Nicks or Lorenna MacKennit. If I were a guy, I would pick Aaron Neville-he has a voice like an angel.
Schwa.
David Byrne or Ron Hawkins of the Lowest of the Low.
AD
The real Elvis for me, Elvis Costello. Or Paul Simon. If I was a girl I hope I'd sound like Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star), Margo Timmins (Cowboy Junkies), or Erykah Badu. ad
Booche
If LR has Thome Yorke's and Shannon Hoon's, then I want his voice........... Aside from that, I hear Phil Lesh has quite a voice Give me a voice comparable to Warren Haynes and Brent Mydlands/Greg Allman's growl-ly goodness, and I am in. I love that shit! Velvet
Bobby McFerrin, no question. If I had to settle for a second place, then Tom Waits. A friend once told me that when he first heard Tom Waits it occured to him that he had never heard anybody actually sing before.
Ronda
Probably Stevies Nicks...if I was a guy I may go with Bob Weir...there's somethin' about those short shorts that can make his voice howl and my skin crawl.
