This is a great story. I saw the tweets of this in the morning as @dlprager is on my follow list, and I couldn't believe that it really happened. Well, there's the video now on youtube.

I just find that 'fact' to be very lean on facts. 190 days, doesn't mean that the guy worked without proper rest. It also looks like the fact was pulled from hearsay. "One guy, he worked 190 days straight without a day off". I wonder how many days were a 4 hour shift, and the rest of the day was.....rest. It is a bad fact to put in the paper without qualifying it. I agree that people need their rest, but that little published sentence is misused.

When you quit smoking, you get so many milestones to be proud about. They never end. 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, one year, and so on. 10 years for me next january. I had the same feeling that velvet did when I finally quit. I'd think to myself "If I had quit last year, I'd have been a non-smoker for 1 year already". Keep it up guys. Enjoy tasting again.

The gnocchi was spinach gnocchi. Did some ricotta/pumpkin ravioli. Spaghetti was just a classic flour/semolina pasta. We had a pasta maker that someone unloaded on me once. I think it was Ronco. Anyways, it was a pain to clean up and had all these parts. I would like a classic italian roller eventually. Still need to make the dough. (hahah...get it? need!)

I've been testing faith measurement software for the last month. Basically, if the software detects a drop in faith, it increases the display of faith-based banners. Basically every soul collected goes into paying for the site.

this is what makes the music industry shits their pants. they can't figure out how to make money off of people getting a show like this, but Phish are probably making a pretty penny and giving something out. I'll bet they continue the experiment.
