Some people have written to mention that they didn't find a "comment" area in which to write in the word "recorder".  That's strange, because I do, but no worries: all donations coming in for the next couple of weeks will be dedicated to purchasing recorders.

Ottawa Deadheads:  I've been doing a weekly vinyl-only night at Tooth and Nail brewery since January.  Since last year when they released Barton Hall 5/8/77 on vinyl, I made it my mission to play the whole show and I've been saving any Dead vinyl that I have until Wednesday, May 9th when I'm going to play the whole thing.  It'll start at 7:30pm.  
It's going down on May 9th instead of the 8th because May 9th is a Wednesday.  I also agree that the 5/9/77 is better than 5/8 but they didn't release that on vinyl, which is a shame.... 
There's no cover, there's nothing fancy... just good beer, good food and great tunes.  I know a bunch of other heads will be coming down so maybe it'll be a good opportunity to meet some new friends.  Vinyl seems have a way of bringing people together.

June 21st - 24th at Mooney’s Bay. Headliners are Sam Roberts Band, Broken Social Scene, Wintersleep, and Matt Mays. Pretty stacked lineup as far as these things go. I’ll be at Matt Mays for sure, and maybe one other night as well.
