  16. Great show. Can't wait for Utica! Here's a review my buddy wrote this am. Pre show... electricity in this old theatre, old friends, familiar tour faces; lots of smiles and a relaxed chill in the air...people were just being...lots of room to wlak around, lots of hugs and hey man's its been a long time...it was like a family reunion made of family members you like and miss Set One: 7:44pm The Music Never Stopped BW- what an opener! high energy, bobby looking and sounding great! did his early 90's scatting in the end...never stop never stop never ever stop...grate pace to start the night...lots of dancing, aisles were used, anywhere you could groove seemed acceptable Alligator JK- one of many treats to the night...JK let loose on this one...a good ole muddy version, a la pigpen...not lots of people recognized it from the start...but a good portion were grooving before the first lyric... Queen Jane ApproximatelyBW - another gem from back in the day. bobby's voice was superb on this one and JK really backed him well and took control of the limited jam they put up for this one Dupree's Diamond Blues JK- here's where my night really started...the voice, the tone, the pace...it was all stunning!!! every so often i just had to stop dancing, close my eyes and just say thank you! this is what I have been waiting for. versions of songs i thought i might never hear again ansd then wha-bam! right between the eyes! On The Road Again BW- standard, but fun...had to go to the bathroom and took my cue here...this band makes getting a drink or pee very difficult to time. Word to the wise...make all preparations before the set begins!!! Hurricane JK- thought it was going to be a groaner...but theyve really improved on it since the rehearsal session...and they let loose on the jam a bit too, making me believe that this is not a one trick pony band. Corrina BW- a song i resented in the spring of 90...but a nice version...too many reprises in my opinion, but was fun to see the full band do a gd cut turned ratdog song. Don't Ease Me In JK- way too much fun to be legal! knew the set was closing here and they sent us off with a bang. Funny banter by bobby, then phil one upped him and did some babbling too. No phil on the mic yet...was concerned about a second set groaner from him... Set Two: 9:52 Hard To Handle JK- beautiful, raunchy, fun rock and roll...though some idiots still think the black crowes wrote this tune... wtf Mississippi Half Step Uptown Toodeloo JK/BW - so fun, was really anticipating the rio grande part at the end...and bw and jk did a supreme job of harmonizing this bit...such a comfortable, familiar sway going on here... Get Back - fun beatles cover...predictable, based on two dylan's in the first set He's Gone-> BW/JK - simply amazing!!! beautiful, sorrowful, morose, too many things too write here, so short and sweet...a highlight! Throwing Stones-> BW - what a righteous song, jam, theatrics by bobby... he felt it and meant it...and jabbed the govt a bit here too. After Midnight-> JK - quite possibly the jam of the night...this one blew the roof off the place...the floor was bouncing, the room was undulating, the walls were breathing...a purposeful, direct, thoughtful jam...listen to this one!!! Death Don't Have No Mercy-> BW - AMAZING...one of those tunes that you just couldnt dance to, cause it was so damn impressive... Shakedown Street-> JK - a favourite in the crowd...amazing jam sequences here...those two gunslingers were at their peak and prime...phil studying bobby, bobby studyin John...full on tight delivery...not too mention this was so late in the second...back of my head said you never close with a shakedown and then sure enough a hellina! Hell In A Bucket BW - sooo much fun...love the "chopper" effect that chimenti had...this was balls out rock and roll...bobby is looking and sounding great(thought he wears capri pants) wtf Encore: Ripple - JK/BW beautiful, well lit from behind the band...a gorgeous way to let us out and back into the real world... random thoughts... phil not singing didnt bother me in the least wet wookie smells awful! this band is worth the price of admission the sound was perfectly mixed the lights were even impressive...dont go expecting kuroda though i was sick as a dog last night...went as a total wharf rat and had a GR8 time... they fed off of us, we fed off of them...marvelous.

  20. I've been looking for a pair as well. Have Buffalo and Utica but decided I'd like to to go Ithica as well.
  21. I remember going to Video Invasion at Bathurst and Wilson when I was a kid. My grandparents lived around their. They used to take us. I loved it. I know there are some pretty cool arcades in asian malls up north Richmond Hill Area. But without a car could be a pain.
