Oteil & The Peacemakers Monday July 9 The Courthouse (57 Adelaide E.) Tickets are $22.50 on-sale this Saturday at 10am via TM, Rotate This and Soundscapes. Oteil Burbridge is the Michael Jordan of the electric bass. His stellar improvisational skills and deft technical prowess have landed him his current seat in the bass chair of the legendary Allman Brothers Band.   9. The High Life Festival will touch down this summer at the Docks Entertainment Complex on Sunday July 1st. This single day celebration of music and culture will be a high energy event featuring live music, exhibitors, arts vendors, food and drink stations in addition to the many activities that the Docks has to offer. The festival aims to quench the thirsts of the musical aficionado, offering a diversified line-up of both international and local talent. We are proud to announce that our headliner for 2007 is Nigerian Afrobeat legend FEMI KUTI & POSITIVE FORCE. Supporting the show will be SOULIVE, WASSABI COLLECTIVE, LAL, REBEL EMERGENCY, THE IRIE BAND as well as some additional acts to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for the festival are affordably priced at $35 plus applicable service charges. Tickets go on-sale April 28 at 10am and are available through all Ticketmaster outlets as well as online at Ticketmaster.ca or by phone at 416.870.8000.   11. This show is going to be pumping. An evening with... Yummy. The lights are going to be out of control. They are rolling with a full semi of gear and lights! I hope to see everyone out on Tuesday night. Lets show one of the brightest spots in the genre a good time.
  12. Grand Theft Bus will be returning to Toronto this Friday March 16th at the Rivoli. Doors open at 9pm and the show will rock on from then. The Fussy Part will be opening. See you all there.
  13. Legendary Reggae Group Jamaica to Toronto will be perorming this Friday night at Lee's Palace. This is a show not to be missed. The rocked Harbourfront to a sold out crowd last summer and are bringing those good time vibes into Lee's for one night of musical bliss.   16. Umphrey's McGee Opera House Tuesday April 17 All Ages I am very excited to announce that Umphrey's McGee will finally be back in Town. Due to overwhelming demand, this show has now been made All Ages to accomodate all of the fans that this band has comprised over the years. Tickets are on-sale now through the bands website.   18. Yes it is true. Umphrey's will finally be making a club appearance in our fair city. Sorry that it has taken so long but sometimes things are worth the wait. This show promises to be a killer as the band is quite excited to be north of the border. Ticket info will be announced soon.....
