    The Eagles

I don't know about that. I don't mind the Eagles, but I'm not exactly gushing with excitement at this latest opportunity to spend exorbitant amounts of mulla to see these old has beens.
  12. They have done it a few times at Jazzfests past. But not this year. I look forward to seeing what they get for the indoor shows. I'm very happy with the line-up I see so far. Bought my pass today.

  17. Does Bob Dylan with Mark Knopfler count? I saw DSO this summer at the Gathering of the Vibes festival. I thoroughly enjoyed the show & highly recommend them for folks who like that kind of thing. Yeah they are a cover band, but a damn good one.

As I drive my way from St. John's to Corner Brook, over the course of a week, stopping in some pretty little towns along the way, I am pleased to have discovered this tasty, unpretentious little brew from the Quidi Vidi Brewing Company: Quidi Vidi Brewing Company
  19. It was better than that. We then walked down onto the floor without having to show our tickets as well. My favorite kind of security is distracted security!
  20. I strongly recommend Lee Fields. I'm very much looking forward to the Ottawa show next Thursday at Ritual Nightclub. Go if you got soul!
  21. One of these things is not like the other. Probably the funnest part of the night.

Sasquatch Stout from Chilliwack is a tasty stout. Especially when drinking it on a patio overlooking Harrison Lake in the Fraser Valley, whiling away the evening hours before the Scientists of Sound play at the closest bar to your motel.
  23. The show is sold out. See you there tonight Rob.
