  1. Huh. Well then. just tried a few other forums and I can copy and paste fine there so seems like an odd problem between this site and my iPhone 5. I tried both the full reply and fast reply on both mobile and full sites and it didn't work. Thought you should know.

    Carry on!

  2. Was going to post the Quebec City Summer Festival lineup, which is way better than Bluesfest and runs the same time (to give you an idea of who was available to book) but can't paste a link into the reply box here from an iPhone. Can this be fixed Bouche?

  4. Well I can't copy and paste a link into this forum / post / reply from an iPhone (unless someone knows how to do this or Bouche can address it?) but on the Ottawa Citizen site right now there's an article detailing how CityFolk will be taking over Bank St in the Glebe during the festival a la Sixth St in Austin during SXSW. Lots and lots of free shows in many venues. Great idea again.

  5. Been a while since I bought tickets to a festival, but the charges are excessive, no?  I looked at all the options on the website and it's $25 on top of a multi-day pass (full festival, pick 3 or 5) and $20 on top of any single day ticket.

  6. So for the 3-day passes, which are loaded onto an RFID card this year, there is a $5 service charge per day, then a $5 service charge for the order. Then I backed out of the order to reevaluate. So even before tax and shipping (and perhaps a handling charge which was TBA) there is a 20% markup on the tickets.

  7. The Newsroom was well-intentioned but terrible, and nowhere close to the writing / themes / acting / cast etc of West Wing. West Wing is his best and arguably the best show to be put on TV, though Sorkin only wrote on it til the end of season 5(?). Sports Night is also at the top of his game.

  8. I think there's at least one big headliner to be announced. The lineup is too light. Might as well scale the festival down a bit otherwise. Still hoping for Foo Fighters - not a huge fan but would go see them for sure. Big rock show on a summer night, why not. Also heard Monahan on the radio this morning talking about how the exchange rate really affected things this year and with all the new festivals the going rate for artists is going up very fast. Kinda makes one wonder (rhetorically) why 11 days of programming is needed (to get as much $$ from customers as possible)

  9. Perhaps this is a legit leak?    http://www.soundcheckentertainment.ca/exclusive-2015-ottawa-bluesfest-lineup-leaked/
