  1. Is there anyone from here hitting this show in Buffalo next Friday?
  2. I drove by the new ampitheater in Syracuse the other day, it looks pretty cool. I'm sure you can guess its orientation towards Onandaga Lake. Rooms at the nearby Hampton Inn are still available for only $135. The Best Western is sold out but that is a blessing in disguise. http://hamptoninn3.hilton.com/en_US/hp/search/findhotels/index.htm
  3. Is this the best live album of all time? I guess that debate is for another thread......
  4. El Vy - Return to the Moon (featuring Matt Berninger of The National)
  5. Just in case anyone missed this in the other thread, here is Dr. Dog's "new" album, Psychedelic Swamp: https://www.sendspace.com/file/ol47jz
  6. Great show in Toronto last night. Highlights were far too many to mention. The only change to the setlist was they played The Promised Land instead of Prove it All Night which was on the setlist. I saw Jim Cuddy, Paul Coffey, George Strombolopolous, Dave Hodge and Elvira Kurt wandering around the floor at different points. 7. I listened to 11.14.73 on a drive from CT to NY on Sunday. I got a fucking speeding thanks in no small part to that Eyes > Other One, Wharf Rat, Me and My Uncle. I was blissfully unaware of everything except the sun shining and the road in front of me until I saw red lights in my rear view mirror.
  8. And you can too: https://www.sendspace.com/file/ol47jz
  9. Offer him half price. Everybody wins! (except Pierre)
  10. The same could be said for the summer music festival circuit. I thought that had reached saturation point about 7 years ago but new ones just keep popping up (and dropping like flies). 11. This is a new service I just learned about to get notifications of ticket re-releases: http://www.ticketdrones.com/home.html Of course you have to pony up $10.95 per show but if it gets you in the door....
  12. I'd never seen this before, I hope this is new to you too! These are all easter eggs from within the Clifford Ball dvd. The videos are pretty grainy but still awesome: https://youtu.be/Gw9gangNkK4?list=PLBD1632819B679E69
  13. I think we can close with: if you are there Phish is a blast but if you stay home and listen on the internet you can poke holes in anything they do. It just isn't the same when you're not a part of the scene. Not even fucking close. I'd have given anything to be on the sand that weekend. I have no idea what I was thinking not going down for this. If someone wants to properly embed this cool drone video of the venue please do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKOfDaOQ-9E&feature=youtu.be
  14. I think he is referring to the quality of the jams not of the webcast. I personally dug the first night but the second half of night 2 and the final night were all pretty standard (if not underwhelming) Phish. And let's all be honest, that was the worst performance of The Ocean in the songs history.
  15. I love about half of the album. I'm sitting there grooving along and then it hits the R+B sections and I can't stand it. I'm going to give it another listen based on your recommendation.
  16. Bruce is offering up the last show in Chicago (Jan 19 2016) for free: http://live.brucespringsteen.net/live-music/0,13586/Bruce-Springsteen---The-E-Street-Band-mp3-flac-download-1-19-2016-United-Center-Chicago-IL.html
  17. http://consequenceofsound.net/2016/01/radiohead-to-headline-lollapalooza-other-major-north-american-festivals/ If Osheaga can get them at the end of July, then perhaps the contract would allow another date down the 417 at the start of the month. Hopefully Monahan pulls through for you folks in Ottawa!
  18. Interesting selection of corporate sponsors there. I wonder how much R.O.I. Kohler sees for that arrangement? I guess they figure that spending 4 days in the heat and dust in Tennessee will make you pine for that first shower back at home.
  19. Willy Tea Taylor - Knuckleball Prime I'm just getting around to listening to some other stuff I d/l'ed last year and this is pretty great.
