  2. I respect that a great deal. I don't know how many rock biographies I have read that talk about going from the hotel to the bus to the arena to the bus to a hotel and NEVER seeing anything other than those things.
  3. Any idea why? That is new to me, although both of my Jimmy shows were on those days of the week. I think if artists such as Frampton and Fogerty are playing in non headlining spots- then why not Buffett? Friday it is!
  4. If its the same set up as last year, there was some sound bleed from Subway onto the Hard Rock. But I think its only an issue when the acts on the affected stages are softer. See: Swell Season in 2010.
  5. I wasn't referring the whole Mikes Groove- more specifically the Weekapaug Groove. If you don't think its rushed, its time to lay off the speed.
  6. While I think this is an interesting debate, I can't help but think of the other kids that will go to school with Jazz in his/ her pink dresses and orange flowered shoes. Bully'd.
  7. And I think you could do it better than moe.!
  8. IMO, they are working on playing the old songs the way they once did. I'd much rather have a very nice Tweezer or Halleys than let them work out a brand new piece of crap like Joy.
  9. There are enough fun/ jammy/ solid moments from those first two shows to warrant a little downloading and listening. This weekend was the first time in a very very long time that I downloaded a show the next day and listened to it immediately.
  10. Yep. From what I listened to last night- they looked at Bethel like a marathon but came out in the first 10 too fast and didn't have the stamina to finish it proper. The Cities, Boogie On, Jim, Tweezer>MFMF, C+P, Gin etc. all showed some new spark, but the glimpse of flame was extinguished last night.

  19. You should definitely seek out The Carleton Tavern. There are lots of like minded folks in the neighborhood that would make the shows alot of fun.
  20. Now I have a pair in Row D in 228 which seems pretty nice.
  21. I have two held in 323 right now, hoping we get lots of drops soon. That went fast!
