  1. This whole things make the brothers Robinson look mature and reasonable.
  2. I'm glad to see he is using some more mainstream venues this time around. The last time I saw him and he tried to thwart Ticketmaster AND scalpers we ended up in an area of Detroit that should have been called Beirut After-Dark. It was fucking scary, like honestly 'look over your shoulder and expect your car window to get smashed', scary.
  3. Some decent stuff on here for Bethel, Syracuse and Darien for those who like cheap tickets: http://promo-img.livenation.com/dm/Rules/SummerSalesShowsFINAL.pdf
  4. I'm waiting Booche and I wasn't there although I've given it several deep listens. Bring it on!
  5. I don't often disagree with fluff but I will stand firm that a bit of real maple syrup on quality and crispy bacon is an acceptable choice with a big farmer's breakfast.
  6. Man would I love to see this! Dave-O? Booche? Please report back. BradM? Please tape this!
  7. Into the blue again, after the money's gone.
  8. It was community theatre at it's best.... lighting miscues, inept soundmen etc. "The Band" weren't bad but as expected Richard couldn't hit the 'Richard' notes (not surprised, I mean who can?!) and some of the acting and script was pretty campy. That said it was a play about Richard Manuel and The Band and they played the actual music not some Muzak crap. The costumes and set design were pretty on point, in fact the costumes for specific events (Ed Sullivan, Woodstock) were exactly what they wore. At the end of the night I was really happy to have gone and supported the arts and got to see some friends I don't see often enough so it was a total win.
  9. Since they did such a bang up job in the Grateful Dead tribute thread, I thought I would post this:
  10. I couldn't find an ad free version.....
  11. If anyone is in the 519 tonight, there is a small group of us hitting this up.
  12. Great story! I just came here to post that (and the Jim James video).....
  13. "I have 80 bootleg Phish tapes".... LMAO! I was that dinkguy too.
  14. Fuggin right. This is going to be stellar!
  15. I did not but I'm travelling to CT this week and might drop in on SoundGarden in Syracuse, they usually have lots of Phish/ Dead. If it's there you want me to pick you one up too?
  16. I just got a message from Anne, the date chosen is Wednesday April 27. Hope to see you there!
  17. I have noticed that there are more and more of these bootlegs popping up on Amazon. It seems the vinyl trend has those boot companies pressing stuff on vinyl that has been out of print at least as far as the ROIOs go. I just bought The Band - And Then There Were Four (live 1983) and Springsteen - Live at Winterland '78 boxed set for a good price on Amazon and they sound absolutely fantastic!
