  1. yup. I'm following this race closer than I want to be...what would be a safe distance?
  2. The Cadillac Lounge hosted these guys for a month or so back in '09 so, not real new and not Canadiana but I think fairly unheard of here. They loved Sammy, he made sure they didn't starve. When I saw them they were all like, 17 yrs old! They keep gaining ground in the UK and I'm rooting for them to go LARGE. Last I heard they turned down Simon for a chance to be on his UK Dog Show. Good on 'em. http://www.thetargets.co.uk/
  3. Happy Birthday Zep IV! Like some others here, that album really changed how I listened to and appreciated music. The Who's - Live at Leeds was another. Is it your Bday too Greg? If so we're a day apart...Keep on Bro!
  4. "...nobody in your organizaton has enough influence over Phil Lesh to envoke anything resembling normal behaivior." Hilarious! Surely they knew the boys were still drinking the Kool-aid?
  5. Tonin? BIZARRO TONIN! Wow! This may be the proof we need to believe in alternate universes. In this one Tonin will DEFINITELY kill you. In ours, we're not sure but don't want to find out!

  10. "Makes me want to go back and take grade 12 chemistry." :::shudders at the mere thought::: Worst subject ever...nomenclature bites the head off and spits the brain back at me. though its great that others are not so intimidated. Thanks for the morning read Doctor.
  11. This makes me think he was the answer in the search for a definitive/representative Canadian entertainer. Then when they found him, no one was impressed...typical. Call it, "Canadian Dying Star Search" Starts off a little dim then fizzles out altogether. g
  12. Fantastic listings! Ride On is one of my faves. Down Payment Blues is one wicked rockin' blues tune I have fond and vivid/sketchy 'High' school memories of skipping class and running around in my buddies camaro (berlinetta, even) blasting every AC/DC song we could find. Ah the sound of jamming a cassette into the dashboard right next to the ashtray that was the size of a dinner plate...sigh... ...and you have to listen to the live ablum, 'Let there Be Rock' to see what you can glean from it. Wicked version of The Jack on there with all the provocative lyrics
  13. Whoa Doctor...first post in like a year? Good to see you back in the Forum. Palin should do porn but not until after she's President
