So, we have a cat living with us now (which I can still hardly believe). This cat (or the food Kayte kept leaving outside) attracted another stray. The stray is a kitten. I suspect said kitten is less than a year but over 6months. It is cute - if you're into cats.

While normally I would recommend an ignore-it-and-it-will-go-away approach, today the stray came into our house when Kayte opened the door to go outside. A cat-hating-kitten kenundrum ensued. We don't want this to happen again.

Kayte is going to take the thing to the humane society where it will certainly be subjected to torture, starvation and dog-cat depravity. Anyone want to save it?

The Mill is down off the River Parkway between the Chaudier bridge and the one Wellington dumps onto.

I watched CBC news last night and they did a spot on this review. They made sure to refer the interviewers to Lapointes to verify that they bought their fish fresh...

I never really had much of a hankerin' to go there. No matter what the Mill would say to refute the article, I can't say that I'll ever go there by my choice.

In the same neighbourhood is Stone Faced Dollys where you can have the most delicious lamb-burger on the planet with yam chips for $10 or so.

Also in the neighbourhood is the 5 Senses (Rochester). The best value for money I've ever come across. Tasty pasta and grilled lunch specials for around $8 (meals of similar quality go for around $15 - $20 in restaurants).

However, I have seen GM a couple of times. I think the first was opening for Denson at the Commodore in 2001. Denson was splitting at the seams when he brought Fareed out on stage (although Denson's regular guitar player didn't seem to think it was nearly so cool...).
