(It might take me a while, because I just moved into a new house this weekend, and I'm already behind on many discs I need to send out when I unpack, but it'll get to you eventually.) Cool voice on that guy.

You are certified for Canadian waters, but I really suggest you do a one-day course with a Canadian instructor, if you haven't used all the cold-water gear. I'm sure you'll figure it all out on your own, as it's mainly just more warm stuff, rather than any other technical gear, but I've already seen tropics-certified divers get a little freaked out using all the gear they required off the west coast of Canada. (It might not be as freaky in an Ontario lake, though.) Fun hobby, though, eh? It's addictive.

I haven't yet dove in Ontario, but I do dive. I understand that the real diving around here is wreck-diving (in very cold water) at Tobermory. Have you been certified using hoods and booties and gloves and all the stuff you need to dive in cold, Canadian waters? It's the same deal, but more stuff to pay attention to, and the thicker wet suit (unless you're in a dry-suit) makes you way more buoyant, so it's harder to establish neutral-buoyancy and buoyancy control.

Okay, now that's the point. This is not a list of the 50 worst bands in musical history. It's a list of the 50 worst RADIO bands. Otherwise, where is Maggot Sandwich? The Accursed? Semi-Detached Antenna? The Sons Of Ishmael? I agree that a list made up of bands that people haven't generally heard of will sell less than a list of bands people have heard of. That still doesn't make it a list of the actual 50 worst bands/musicians. I think we agree on that, anyway.

So, they have credentials; so what? They didn't mention a single artist who sold less than a million albums, from what I can tell. Pretty limited pool to choose from.

This list indicates that whoever wrote it has a very limited knowledge of musical artists. A few (very few) of these deserve to be there. Otherwise, I can easily name 50 worse bands, but most of them are certainly not as well known as Iron Butterfly or The Doors. This list is just silly.
