LOL, the keyboard player is a vendor I have worked with. We get along famously and he invited me to come out. Since no one else is asking me to sing these days, it sounds alright to me.

Ottawa Local band Wicked Grin will be hosting a jam at the Rainbow this Sunday, Nov 7th. They'll be on stage at 4 and going until 7 and encourage you to bring your instruments, voices and get ready to roll! I for one need to get my sing on. I think I'll go belt a few out. www.wickedgrin.ca

Caprica JUST started to look like it might, perhaps, maybe be getting good and we're how many episodes into this season? I found it a snore-fest so far but keep watching in hopes that it will blow my mind in a big finish. Not so terrible that it's been canceled. I can stop holding my breath.

There's a new cupcake store in the Glebe. Now THAT's family fun! The IMAX in Museum of Civilization sometimes has interesting things playing. Biward Market of course. There's some good horseback riding places just south of Ottawa and north of Hull. Lafleche Adventures for zip-lining and caves. Drive to Wakefield for a nice afternoon. Gatineau Park. All of our bike/walking paths. Westboro or the Glebe for shopping/walking around. I recently learned how great Saunders Farms is as well. Great mazes.

Not saying I'd eat it, I wont, but surely there has to be worse things out there with higher fat and calories than the double down. You can't ban a combination of food. If people want to eat crap, they will.
