I don't find that pairing so strange. ZZ top are shitkickin' good ol' boys and so are Brooks & Dunn. However ZZ top is the only act I'd pay to see.

Sign of the times my friend. I recently read an industry article from my dad's work (he owns a music publishing company) and in it it explains how pretty much every royalty collection agency worldwide has put their weight on small blanket fees for those who download music, much in the way blank media is tarriffed and Socan charges business for using music etc... Then these royalties are distributed back to the artists or those who own the copywrites on a sliding scale depending on how many copywrites you own and how popular your songs are. Basically this is the music industry finally figuring out how to get the money they are due, due to internet file swapping and torrent downloading. had to happen eventually.

Tiesto can barely mix...so sad P.S. Money Mark is the keyboard wizard and musical director for the Beastie Boys. He was crucial in crafting their sound from ill communciation on...not to be missed.

The underground collective was quickly gaining momentum with the 2003 release of "Stereoscopic" and 2005's vinyl-only release "Stereoscopic Remixed." As Jamie Kidd left to follow his passion for producing techno and recording for various electro boutique labels, the band soldiered forward by determination of guitarist/songwriter Josh Laing and drummer/drum programmer Tyrone Cassie. They busied themselves redeveloping, refining and streamlining their sound with several of Toronto's top session and live players. A chance meeting with voracious young bass player from the outskirts of Toronto named Snappy Homefry - who was then known to most as a budding producer/engineer, did The Chameleon Project find their second skin. The new group shared the vision of a hybrid sound that explored the pulsating beats of electronica, the hypnotizing textures of Dub and which also paid tribute to the spontaneity of 70's jazz-funk records. I think if you like Will Ferrel and his brand of humor you will love this flick. It will not convert those who do not love Ferrell already. And yes it is predictable, but if you love Ferrell's humor that is exactly what you want... and besides "Love me sexy" is the best song of 2008..so far...

I saw this flick on opening night and it was drop dead hilarious.. Great cast and set in the ABA in the 70's. Will Ferrell's outfits alone are worth the ticket price.. I highly recommend it... Check out his video "love me sexy" GOLD!
