  1. I don't get the gov't ways in general. I mean if you are going to require that people give back money you give them, then just give them less in the first place to avoid redundancy and red tape. Oh I forgot this is the government we are talking about...
  2. Good setlist. "Milestones" and "KC Moan" werd! Can't wait for Syracuse & Rochester!
  3. The final song in the series is up for preview: "Heaven in the Afternoon pt.2" You can now download these tracks as well from myspace.
  4. So I am still working on a few angles to buy my Police tickets. I have found some decent deals and some even better deals on side view or rear view tickets that are really close. Anyone ever sit in these seats? Is it enjoyable? Does it totally suck? Need your opinion before I buy. Muchos Garcias
  5. Werd! Can't wait. Tobin always bring it every time!
  6. So I slept in today and missed the general sale for the Police at the ACC. Since then I have found a guy on Craigslist who has a decent pair of tickets in the upper bowl at a reasonable price. He lives in Quebec City and seems on the level. However having never met him I want to know how I can protect myself from getting scammed and not recieving tickets. He says he will accept cheque, money order or paypal. He will ship via UPS or Xpresspost. If I go Paypal is there a way I can protect myself , in case he tries to not send me the tix I paid for? Advice? Comments?
  7. Yippee I get a vote! I get vote!
  8. Werd! Looking forward to having you there Carrie. Make sure to wear something 70s or nautical to keep with the theme. Ship ahoy.

  10. Agreed. Girl Talk is cool. Reminds me of the TooMany Djs. Really well thought out mash ups. Only problem for these guys legally is its nearly impossible to get the copywrite clearance to publish thier music. So their best stuff is always technically illegal, which can make it a little harder to access at times.
  11. you're voting for ann coulter You mean I can actually vote in a US election as a Canadian! Wow that's major news. Aslo I had no idea Ann Coulter was running? I assumd she was too busy drinking and puking to ever do such a thing. I hear it cuts into her drinking time.
  12. where is it? The link is bust.
  13. I'll say it again. The US is in need of a non white or non-male president who can do the job. It would signal a radical change in the bias of the old guard and signal to the world a progressive change. That is all.
  14. Agreed If waters was doing another Floyd classic I could get excited.
  15. I back that up 100%. He wouldn't have stood a chance the 40's either with the like of Lonnie Johnson, Charlie Christian and Lighnng Hopkins cutting his head. Way overrated.
  16. This official line up looks way better than the leaked line up previously. The adittion of : STS9, Tool, Tortoise, Ween, DJ Shadow and the Police really make me want to do the trip again... And of course the Police. Although I will bet the Police's regular stadium shows will be much better and more enjoyable.
  17. I don't want to be a hater, but put it to bed already. The whole playing "darkside" again and again is killing a masterpiece. either reunite Floyd or move on.
  18. Either way its good. If Hillary wins fine, the US would benefit from a woman president If Obama wins great too the US needs a non-white president. They just need a non-white or non-male leader for once. I suddenly have the urge to crank "Hear comes Sunshine".
  19. Bang on! This is and has always been a huge problem in the jam-scene. Now if you wanna go to a club retro night or a commercial dance music night you'd have no problem. Seems the better the music gets the less women there are (in general). However the few women that do frequent "good" music events are usually super-hip, intelligent and sexy. Which means unless your timing is awesome, they're taken. This seems to be the way in the Canadian scene, although the East-Coast is a little better. I think the women on this board are the cream of he crop! Big Ups!
  20. The chopped and screwed remix genre was pioneered by Texas native/crunk master DJ Screw. It was his penitent for playing hip-hop at molasses slow tempos that started the movement and from there he went about remixing popular rap songs of the day in that chopped and slowed down style. "Dirty south" practitioners drink "the sizzurp". Sizzurp is a mixture of strawberry soda, alcohol and liquid codeine cough syrup. The effect of this potent mixture is that is slows you down and numbs everything. Hence the style. Paul Wall and Little Jon have been heavily influenced and mentored by DJ Screw (who is now dead) and desrves all credit for this remix style. Get CRunk!
  21. The next track in the new album preview "Luxury Fever" is now up on the Chameleon Project myspace for preview. Chameleon Project new track preview
