  1. Just moved to Colorado, so no Phish for me this fall. (That said, I moved from BC, so there probably wouldn't have been any fall Phish for me even if I had stayed put). Have fun, everyone! Should be a great tour.
  2. I'm in Colorado looking for work right now, and there are a surprising number of weed-related jobs out here (well, a surprising number of legitimate ones, that is). Work in dispensaries, marketing, reviewing, etc. are not at all uncommon in the daily job search.
  3. I think it will be pretty easy, save for maybe Syracuse and the first night of MSG. After all of the griping about Hampton and summer tickets, it's pretty annoying to see people offering up tickets for trade already.
  4. Woot woot! Have a great day, Kev (even though it's not your birthday anymore, I think you're still entitled to a great one).
  5. I use TV Critter. It's a search engine for streamable TV shows and almost always delivers the goods.
  6. This whole saga is, in my opinion, a terrific illustration of what's wrong with how we get our news. 24-news channels and websites have to consistently fill up 24 hours' worth of programming, regardless of what is happening in the world. As the market becomes more and more saturated they have to compete harder and harder to get our attention. Thus, when something like this happens - something that, two hours later became a complete non-story - it becomes a massively overblown lead story and works to hold our attention (and ratings) for just long enough until they can entertain us with the next story to come along. 24 hour news makes us numb and dumb. Now, if you'll excuse me, I haven't checked cnn.com in over an hour.
  7. Woot woot! Congratulations brah! I hope Vanessa takes well to big sisterhood.
  8. Just watched the doc. Two thumbs way up, and I've never been a particularly big metal fan. Anyone else notice when they were in the studio recording the album and they turned a nob up to 11? Cracked me up.
  9. I am hoping this is a slow clap that will gradually pick up steam. Kind of like the ending to Cool Runnings.
  10. Wow, that could take your breath away. (Get it...Berlin...Take My Breath Away...Top Gun...anyone?)
  11. I've never been to the Buffalo airport, but that is cutting it really close, especially if you have checked baggage. Maybe check and see if you can check-in in advance (online) for your flight leaving Buffalo. That would save you some time, but even still you would be close. Remember there's usually a difference between "arrival time" and the time you are walking off the plane. Just my two cents.
  12. I freakin' love fall. You can still do almost all of summer's outdoor activities (camping, biking, hiking, etc.), but you get nice cool evenings and no uncomfortably hot/humid weather. Add in the beuatiful colours (especially when living in the mountains) and the knowledge that ski season is right around the corner, and fall is definitely my favourite season. Thoughts?
  13. I'm pretty sure that Esau is an electrician, and I'm 100% sure that he lives in Hamilton.
  14. This might turn out to be a dumb question, but what does (nh) mean?
  15. Caroline must not have been hot. And if it took her that long to get the hint, I'm not surprised she failed.
  16. They don't. Not always, anyway. I've seen Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal and Smokey Robinson all on Conan since he took over the Tonight Show.
  17. Didn't really do much for me. That's a big song that needs a home run swing, and the novelty of the pairing wasn't enough to make it work for them.
  18. http://www.raisinhead.com/ http://www.archive.org/details/Raisinhead Aloha' date=' Brad[/quote'] Raisinhead are great. They're an Ominous Seapods offshoot, and I've seen them as they've come through Lake Placid a bunch of times. Decent original stuff and well-played, familiar covers, but call them a "cover band" would be to sell them short.
  19. I saw the first thread really early on (heady?) but ignored it at first, thinking there was no way that the handle "TomMarshall" actually belonged to Tom Marshall. Don't think I'll make a point of setting my alarm for his return tonight, but it's pretty cool that he spends time on there.
  20. Looks wicked, brah. I've already passed it on!
