  1. Sorry jay funk, No links to anything specific. We ended up renting the main floor of a decent semi mid town. Split with friends much cheaper than a hotel. Used a site called AIRBNB. Also checked out VRBO but AIRBNB seemed to have more options in Chicago. I'd think that both hotels and rentals might open up as those without tickets bail on the trip. Good luck with your search! ( somehow I think mine will be more difficult . Cheers
  2. We're going! Booked a place and the train the day it was announced. Just struck out on mail order and ticketbastard. Disappointed for sure but always wanted to see Chicago anyway. No doubt we will spend some time down at the show looking for what would be a real miracle ticket but there should be no shortage of fun and interesting things to check out.
  3. Frustrating not to know where but Awesome you are in the show! I may have to content myself with "in the city". Still hoping though. If anyone is looking for a cheap way to Chicago. 60.00 return on amtrack from port huron just across from Sarnia. Cheers
  4. A friend of mine has an extra floor ticket for Neil in London at cost if anyone wants it. Cheers
  5. Yup what everyone else said. 20 years and 100's of shows later the great music and people the fatties brought together have shaped my life in too many ways to mention. Thanks Boys. (I for one will still hold out hope for the occasional reunion show!) Cheers
  6. Finger Lakes Inn in Canadaigua is 5 minute walk to the show........lots of fun!
  7. No worries about DBT. A little loud but lots of fun. We'll miss you guys for sure. Simon and Rowan will have to get some play time down the road. We'll be up on the Bruce the second week in July. If you are around the cottage let us know and we'll stop by. Do you know if Russ and Ang are planning on hitting up NLQP this year?
  8. Too bad it's not working for you this year Edger. Our fortunes changed the other way and it looks like the whole family is in, kids and all....... Fingers crossed ......
  9. Here's a vote for Days of You. They packed shows in the mid 90's for a reason.
  10. Hey Sarah, super excited to get up there. I'm trying to convince my travelling partner to get on the road early so we can catch your new outfit. (For anyone who doesn't know Sarah has a beautiful voice) Don't think I've seen Days in 15 years. I used to see them religiously in the early 90's. They were(and hopefully still are) friggin fantastic. Seeing the two bands together again will be a real treat/ I can only remember a couple of pairings at the Volcano and my very first Fat cat show, Halloweeen 92 opening for Days at the Serbian club in K-W. Time flies. Enjoy everyone
  11. Super excited to see my two all time favorite Canadian Jam Bands.... Days of You and Fat Cats.... back to back! Anyone know how much a single day/night admission is?
  12. I'm pretty sure I'll have an extra. I'll find out tonight for sure.
  13. How does one obtain advance tickets for this show? Also, I'll second the hope that there is a little wiggle room with the set times...... having the fatties end at 11:00 seems a bit on the early side. It would be nice if there was some energy in the room for their set Just my 2 cents. Cheers
  14. I don't know if this has changed since the last time the Fatties played there in about 1994 , but watching the locals is worth the price of admission all by itself.
