This is not factual but what I've heard.

Hookah demands $5000 per show if it for one night and $7000 for a two night (Fri/Sat) weekend. A few hundred $'s won't get them up there but if you have the right promoter, I'm sure they could be negotiated with.

We are in search of someone or a group of someones that are able to supply us with wholesale glass (either canadian or u.s. blown). This includes any types of blown glass including necklace pendants, etc. If from Canada, it would have to be shipped to Michigan. Anyone blow glass or know someone who does, that would be willing to supply us with goods, I would appreciate being contacted. Since we are Nomads (on the road all of the time), the easiest way to get in touch with us is on our cell phone (734) 765-5231. Also, since we are on the road all of the time, this supplier would probably be kept quite busy just supplying us with what we need.

Initially, we are looking for a minimum of about $500 US in wholesale product. But we would be willing to take less if that is all you have.

On Monday, Canadian Authorities along with the Canadian Coast Guard, Ontario Provincial Police and Royal Canadian Mounted Police tighted security at all border crossing points along the Great Lakes. Rumors began to surface about the American Nomad and Nomadess' intention to cross the border into Canada to attend the Phil Lesh and Friends and Jazz Mandolin Projects concerts this week. When Canadian Authorities were contacted for comment, they stated that "these two American travelers have been specifically picked out because of their ability to draw friendly, hippie / hippie-like Canadians from their homes to gather in a peaceful manner." the authorities further went on to say that they did not want "these types of Americans infecting our citizens." When a Canadian citizen was asked about how they felt, one Canadian said "If they make it across, it is going to be one hell of a party!"
